Felting Workshops Inspire Creativity for Local Mums

We were delighted to welcome local mums to a series of felting workshops led by the talented Andrea Hayes.

Throughout the programme, participants explored the traditional craft of wet felting, learning a variety of techniques while creating unique handmade pieces. The workshops began with the creation of felted soap wraps before moving on to more detailed floral designs, allowing participants to develop their skills and confidence.

During the final two sessions, the group worked on beautiful bespoke landscape pieces, combining the techniques they had learned to create colourful and personal works of art.

The workshops provided a relaxed and enjoyable opportunity to learn a new heritage craft, connect with others, and celebrate creativity in a supportive environment.
